The World Toxicological Pathology Congress, a global overview of Toxicologic Pathology in the 21st Century, is an initiative of professors from the School of Veterinary Medicine and Animal Science of the University of São Paulo, the Latin American Association of Toxicological and Experimental Pathology, LASTEP, and the International Federation of Societies of Toxicologic Pathology, IFSTP. The event seeks to encourage the development of toxicologic pathology as a specialty in Latin America, in harmony with the other societies of Toxicological Pathology of the world, and with the precepts of the IFSTP. The event will be held from April 21 to 26, 2018 at the University of São Paulo. The program includes activities such as Toxicologic Pathology Pot-Pourri, 2 short courses and 7 sessions, covering several topics related to Toxicological Pathology. Confirmed international speakers are: Susan Elmore, Wanda Haschek-Hock, Gabriele Pohlymeyer-Esch, Sibylle Groeters, Erio Barale, John Foster, Lindsay Thomlinson, Douglas Wolf, Samuel Cohen, Taki Harada, Jack Harkema, Jerrold Ward, Robert Maronpot.
